Offering adults a second chance to learn new skills is an important factor in
every developing region. In an ever changing world driven by technology key
issues need to be addressed for sustainable regeneration and this is at the heart
of our project entitled (BER) 'Bali Economic Regeneration'

Bali has been designated as the first in several new initiatives launched by the
London Academy of Media Film and Television to create a series of courses in
Media Film and Television production for local adults living and working on the island.

A new workforce could dynamically change Bali in becoming a Broadcast Media
centre for future generations. Our vision is to create a new industry in several
slow growth Media environments throughout Asia to promote and nurture
the local community.

New courses will commence every three months in Bali throughout the year,
inviting 160 students in total to participate. Adults have the opportunity to focus
their creativity in a vocational and relaxed environment learning the art of
Media communication primarily in the subjects of TV and Film Production.

''The idea is a simple and effective measure to help individuals understand
modern broadcasting techniques with a view to creating the first generation of
Media Film and TV professionals'' says organiser Andrew Parkin from The
London Academy of Media Film & Television.

The project can only work one way and is unique in its offering as the funds
required are not given by the usual monetary donations, rather by 'Human Time'
You can get involved by giving up some of your precious time during a morning,
afternoon, day or evening by teaching your media skills to Local London People
in central London.

The fees normally paid to you for teaching will be transfered into the cost of
running the project in Bali. If you would like to become involved,
The London Academy are looking for the following skill base in the following areas:

Photography, Film, TV Production, TV Presenters, Screen Acting, Makeup artists,
Camera Operators, Radio Production, Radio Presenters, Voice Coaches,
Documentary Makers, Editors, Final Cut Pro, Avid.

If you would like to become involved in the London Project, you might also want to
become involved in the Bali project as we are offering a two week working holiday
with free accommodation in luxury surroundings with Tennis Court,
Swimming Pool and your own personal Maid.

So, if you would like a well deserved break or change of scene this
could be the opportunity. We would like to hear from you.

Best Wishes

Andrew Parkin
